PMI Global Congresses
PMI Global Congresses bring together hundreds of participants from all over the world of project management education, research and professional practice.
Preceded by GAC Academic Forums and PMI Research Working Sessions, the roster of activities include the PMI Professional Awards Program, intensive standards working sessions and ample opportunities to network with academic peers as well as leading service providers who can offer you the guidance and resources to help you build your program.
GAC Academic Forums
GAC Academic Forums are one-day pre-Congress events that are usually focused on a theme of interest to the project management academic community, such as industry partnerships, best practices in project management curriculum and teaching, etc. It is also an opportunity to network with other academics teaching in the discipline.
PMI Research Working Sessions
PMI Research Working Sessions are one-day, pre-Congress research events that occur at each of the four PMI Global Congresses. They present an opportunity to discuss current research topics of interest for the project management academic community. Working sessions are organized around a specific topic each year, addressed by a panel of experts with whom participants interact.
PMI Research Conferences
The bi-annual PMI Research Conference brings together upward of 400 academics in various sub-fields of management science, senior executives, and project management professionals interested in project management theory, methods, and practice. The event features a wide range of presentations and provides an excellent opportunity to network over the course of several days with those who shape the future of the discipline of project management.
